Second Offering Partner for May:
The Diocese of Nzara
Our Second Offering Partner for the month of May is the Diocese of Nzara, one of the three companion dioceses with our own Diocese of Iowa. St. Timothy’s has long had a special relationship with this diocese. Many of our members have visited Nzara and hold a special place in our hearts for these wonderful people.
Over the course of the month, we hope to raise sufficient funds that we can bring professionally dug wells to a few remote villages. This is a critical need as the areas are subject to repeated flooding, after which there is no access to clean water. Our diocese has some funding in reserve for water projects in Nzara, so we are hopeful that, joining our funds with those already on hand, we can make clean water a reality in these remote villages.
