By giving of our time, talent, and treasure, we join in Christ’s mission to the world. The generous giving of parishioners supports our beautiful worship services, spiritual formation offerings, and our many ministries.

Our 2nd Sunday Offering partner for May:
The FreeStore
What is the FreeStore? The FreeStore is a not-for-profit furniture bank, started as a ministry of St. Timothy’s in 2001,that donates “gently used” furniture and household goods to families who need to start over. These families include victims of domestic violence, refugees, and other families in need. The FreeStore takes referrals from domestic violence agencies, social service agencies, schools, and churches and provides almost everything these families would need to furnish their new living places.
What’s a Furniture Bank? Think of a food bank, but instead of giving away pasta and canned peas, the FreeStore gives away couches, beds, chairs, and tables.
How Can You Help? To start…The FreeStore needs your stuff! What furniture or household goods (dishes, flatware, glasses, linens, lamps, etc.) do you have hanging around that you don’t need or use anymore? Are these things “gently used”? It’s important to the FreeStore that the items that are given away are in good shape, i.e., not junk! Most needed items include: mattresses and box springs; queen size sheets, pots and pans, and small appliances such as mixers, crockpots, coffeemakers, and toasters.
