Regular adult formation classes are held as above. The Sunday morning group meets at the same time as our formation classes for children. We generally do short DVD presentations followed by discussion.
Our Thursday morning study is preceded by a short service of Morning Prayer, led by various members of the group in turn. During the summer of 2017, we will be reading, studying, and discussing Rob Bell’s book What is the Bible?: How an Ancient Library of Poems, Letters and Stories Can Transform the Way You Think and Feel About Everything. In the past we have read and discussed the Bible cover-to-cover (The Bible in 180 Days), discussed Marcus Borg’s books “Speaking Christian” and “The Heart of Christianity,” discussed John MacArthur’s book Parables, and watched Rob Bell’s NOOMA DVD series. Discussion is always spirited and fun!
Our Friday morning book group reads a wide variety of books. To see reviews of the books we have read and a listing of the books we are reading now and preparing to read visit our blog at http://firstname.lastname@example.org.
